VTB Bathtub Liners Inc. is a Canadian-based manufacturer and distributor of moulded ABS acrylic liners and wall systems for bathtubs. These made to measure products are installed over existing tubs, tiles and ceiling to eliminate the need for major bathroom renovations to replace older, worn bathtubs and tiles. The installation process requires only a day and completely eliminates the need to remove and then re-install existing tubs, wallboards and tiles which is costly and messy. As well, the tub liner will generate additional renovation business to the bathroom, namely toilet; sink flooring and plumbing fixture replacement.

Proposal between BC Tubliners and Dealer

The following proposal will outline the terms and conditions for the
purchase of acrylic bathtub liners and wall systems from VTB Tubliners.
(Hereinafter called VTB Tubs).

1.) Acrylic tub liners and wall systems will only be purchased from VTB Tubs.

2.) Acrylic tub liners and wall systems will only be sold and installed within agreed upon areas. (Saskatchewan, Canada)

3.) VTB Tubs will provide training in the installation of tub and wall liners as well as a list of all products and tools required for these installations.

4.) There will be a two-week delivery period from the date of order (in most cases sooner.) Location to be determined. All orders must be faxed to VTB Tubs.

5.) The training period will be 5 days, may vary in some cases. All installers must be properly trained in all aspects of these installations to the satisfaction of VTB Tubs.

6.) A fee will be paid to VTB Tubs for training and this fee will also include 1 units IE: 1 Tub liners, 1 walls systems or any combination there of (all products needed to install above units not included).

7.) All freight will be F.O.B. Cornwall, Ontario (Manufacturers Plant).

Q: What is the market for the VTB Bathtub Liners Inc. Distributor?

A: Although highly specialized the VTB Distributor offers a service to any
residential person, business, hotel, apartment owner or institution that has a bathtub or shower. All bathtubs and showers, old or new can become damaged and therefore can be a candidate for one our services or products. As you can quess, the market potential is huge.

Q: Why is the VTB system so superior to other tub liners?

A: It is constructed with 40 mm of pure acrylic, the most desirable bathtub construction material used today and identical in the construction process to all luxury whirlpool tubs made today. It derives it’s strength and rigidity from a generous undercoat of ABS at 210 mm thickness.

Q: How long does it take to install?

A: It takes 2 to 3 hours to do a tub liner and skirt.

Q: How long does it take to do a wall installation?

A: Wall installations can be fun as no wall situation is the same, so add an extra 3 hours to do a wall system. Both the acrylic wall system and the luxurious cultured marble wall system fall into the same time frame.

Q: Can I have another business besides the VTB Bathtub Liners Inc?

A: Yes, providing there is no conflict in products and services and it has been previously declared and agreed to.

Q: Can I sell my business as a going concern?

A: Yes, you will have initially paid for your rights to the VTB distributor business by taking our training course, and can sell them to a third party with the approval of your BC Tubliners, of course all proceeds of the sale will go to you, except for the cost to train the new distributor.

Q: Will VTB be offering more products in the future?

A: Yes, as quality products that require installation or complement our current products are sourced, they will be added to the price list. In order to widen the distributor’s base of income an attempt will be made to have most products exclusively, where possible, at a better price than that available locally to you, the Distributor.

Q: Can the distributor sell other bathroom products along with the unique
tubliner system products that VTB does not carry?

A: Yes, we do not limit you from adding locally sourced products and installing them for your customer, providing they do not replace our product. We wish to supply the alternative to a full inconvenient renovation. Our systems are designed and selected to reduce uncomfortable messes and disruption to the home. By eliminating the demolition portion of a renovation, the VTB’s methods save time and money to produce a priceless renovation.

Q: What do I have to do to keep my distributorship in good standing?

A: Firstly, operate your distributorship and conduct your business in a good and honest fashion, by servicing customers in the “old fashioned” way as well as making sure the finest in craftmanship is adhered to in installing your products.

Secondly, we expect you to make money.

Q: How do I obtain the VTB products?

A: As most of our products are custom fitting, it is unwise to have distributors with large stocks, other than standard products. You can order custom products from our central stock by fax as you need the product. Most customized items will be shipped to you within 2 weeks. This eliminates the need for distributors to carry large inventory to an extent and allows you to take advantage of our warehousing function without tying up your capital.

Q: How do I pay for products?

A: As the central distributor, you are expected to pay immediately by check with your order or by other prearranged means.

Q: Do I have to pay a royalty on my sales or a yearly license fee?

A: The answer is: No royalty and no yearly licensing fees. A distributor will pay a one time training fee. A master distributor will pay a one time fee for exclusive rights to an expanding territory and training center.

Q: Who else can sell and install VTB products in my territory?

A: No one can sell our products in your territory. However, the head office
commercial project people will be continually on the prowl for large commercial jobs, and dealing with Head Offices of hotels and apartment owners who may have jobs to do in your territory. In this case you will be given the right to do the work and be paid, as well as sharing in the profits of the job.

customer service.

Spend five days “hands-on” training at our plant or western dealer location.
